Recommended Suspension Enhancement For 2019 Heartland Pioneer RL250 W/ Tandem 3500lb Axles
Question:
I have a 2019 HEARTLAND Pioneer RL250 travel trailer with dual axles rated at 3500 lbs. each. What do you suggest in the way of improving the suspension such as shocks or equalizers?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Since your 2019 Heartland RV Pioneer RL250 has tandem 3500lb axles I recommend the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers - 3,500-lb Axle # RM-2450 you were looking at.
The # RM-2450 does a great job of absorbing road shock due to the nitrogen filled shock absorbers, and will also reduce sway by limiting lateral movement.
This kit will require your trailer to have the leaf springs above the axle of your trailer. If your trailer has the leaf springs underneath the axle you will need to use an over-under kit # K71-384-00 which will move the axle underneath the leaf springs.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
