I have linked a video below to an installation that we did on a 2004 Ford Explorer. This should help you to be able to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED24FR and Plug-and-Play Wiring Harness # RED87FR on your 2005 Ford Explorer Sport Trac.
To complete the installation you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 for the correct wiring and connectors. This will allow you to convert the 4-way flat on your Explorer to the 7-blade connector that your 2008 Jayco Jay Feather LGT 29X will require.
