2021 Honda CRV Hitch Receiver and E-Bike Hitch Rack Recommendation

Hi, Im looking for options for a bike rack for a 2021 Honda CR-V Hybrid. It will need to hold two e-bikes and I prefer a hitch mount. Thank you for your help.

Let's start with the hitch receiver. The Etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish, part # e98848, is a Class III hitch receiver that will fit your 2021 Honda CRV. It is also rated for towing with a maximum tongue weight of 525lbs and maximum gross trailer weight of 3500lbs.

For your bike rack I recommend the Thule Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes, part # TH903202. It has many features that e-bike riders need. First, it comes with a ramp to help load your bikes and it can handle bikes up to 65lbs each. If your e-bike has a fender this rack has padded clamps that clamp the frame of your bike while not marring the finish of the bike. It is also fat tire compatible and it has a built in tilt feature that can be used even when the rack has been loaded with bikes. It is compatible with 1 1/4" and 2" hitch receivers. When not in use it folds and with built in wheels it can rolled away for storage.

A second rack option would be the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HLY84FR. This rack is rated to carry e-bikes up to 80lbs per bike. This will accommodate fat tires up to 5" so if you have fat-tire e-bikes you will not need an additional accessory for each fat tire bike.
