Flat Tow the 2013 Honda CR-V

Question:

I have a 2018 BW Tiffin Wayfarer and plan to trade to trade for an RW within the next year or so. I have a 2013 Honda CRV toad. I do not have the tow bars and the base plat has been ordered, RM52167-5. I will probably order the RM 522 tow bar with other accessories. My questions are: 1. is this vehicle is a dedicated toad and I want to have a permanently installed braking system such as the RM InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System RM-8700. It will work on my CRV but the link on my cell phone says that it will not work with a 2018 Wayfarer. Is this correct? If it will not work, what do you recommend? 2. if the invisiBrake RM 8700 will work do I still need the fuse disconnect switch, since it has a trickle charger? 3. are there any adapters I need?

The Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System, # RM-8700 can be installed on your 2013 Honda CR-V to be towed with your motorhome. Provided your motorhome is properly arranged and has the tow capabilities of the Honda's vehicle weight.

If you select the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, # RM-522, you will need the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit, # RM-521567-4. The RoadMaster Falcon 2 and Falcon All-Terrain Combo Towing Kit with Straight Wiring, # RM-9243-1. The Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles, # RM-88400 and the Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch for Towed Vehicle, # RM76512.

You may or may not require the use of a high/low adaptor. I provided a link to the help article "HOW TO CHOOSE A HIGH-LOW ADAPTER".

You may choose the option of having a protective screen or rock guard such as the # RM-4700, or # RM-4000.
