Parts Needed to Add Electric Brakes to Shorelander Trailer with 3500-lbs Axle

Question:

I have a 2011 shorelander trailer with an axle, looking to add electric brakes but all I seem to find is disc hydraulic. I have kit with the proper bearings so hopefully it will work

I would need to know which hub and drum you'll be using (since you've already found one that matches your bearings), but from what I was able to base off some previous information on Shorelander trailers we've seen you'll likely want to use the # AKEBRK-35L-SA for your brakes. These are self adjusting 10" electric brakes that will fit on axles up to 3500-lbs capacity. You'll also need brake mounting hardware # BRKH7 to mount the brakes to the brake mounting flange on your spindle.

I also recommend adding a 7 way with a junction box all in one like the # HS381-9000, to give you the 7 way you'll need for electric brakes. If you also need some wire to run, there is 10 gauge wire # 10-1-1 available by the foot and butt connectors with part # DW05745-10.

I've linked some review and installation videos of these parts for you to check out as well.
