Replacement Boat Trailer Winch For Boats Over 4,200LBS

Hello. My boat is over 4200 pounds. Last year the metal cable snapped putting it in the trailer. I’m looking to just replace the whole winch assembly. Can you recommend any for that weight? My trailer does not have rollers.

I recommend using the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch # DL25215. This winch is rated for 9,000lbs and utilizes a polyester strap that is less likely to damage your boat if it were to ever snap like the metal cable did on your last winch. The winch also has a backup manual crank handle for if you lose power.
The Dutton-Lainson Angle Mounting Plate # DL24059 will allow you to mount the winch level on your trailer winch stand. And the Dutton-Lainson Winch Cover # DL24051 will protect the winch from the elements and keep it clean and dry.
