Friction Sway Control For Reese Round Bar Weight Distribution RE44FR
Question:
I already have a Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution w Sway Control - Round Bar - 11,500 lbs GTW, 1,150 lbs TW. I am towing a Bullet 1700bh that weighs 3300 dry. I am towing with a 2011 Ford E350 extended. Everything is great, but there is still a bit of suck and push when semi-trucks fly past me. Will this friction control arm help and can I use it with the other? Also, if so, can I back up with this on or is it best to unhook it? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yep, you have the exact right part to add sway control to your Reese Pro Round Bar Weight Distribution # RE44FR, which is the friction kit:
- Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660
This will definitely help with the sway you are experiencing, comes with everything you need for the install, and will work with the head unit of your Reese system. in regards to backing up, it will need to be unhooked. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
