How To Replace 6-way Square Connector On Trailer With 4-way Flat Connector
Question:
I have a 6 pin flat coming out of my trailer pop-up..... the colors are....white, brown, blue, green, black, and red. My four flat has the basic.... green,white, yellow,and brown. What goes where??

I would be happy to help you replace the 6-way square connector on your pop-up camper with a 4-way connector, but you will need to use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to confirm the functions of the wiring on your trailer as colors are not standardized with trailer manufacturers.
The 4-way connector you have has the following functions:
White is the ground
Brown is the tail light/running lights
Green is the passenger side turn signal/ brake lights
Yellow is the driver side turn signal/brake lights
If you do not have a 6-way connector on another vehicle to power the trailer, you will need to trace each wire to the light it goes to to identify it, or can test each function by connecting it to the positive terminal of a 12v battery and seeing what lights up.
