The difference between the 7 hole shank included with the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 7-Hole Shank - 8K GTW, 800 lbs TW # BLU47FR and the 9 hole shank included with the # BLU67FR is the amount of rise or drop the shank offers.

The 7 hole shank offers no drop and between 2" - 12" rise, where the 9 hole shank offers 4-1/2" drop or 10-1/2" rise.

To determine which shank will be correct for your setup you will need to measure from the ground to the top inside edge of the trailer hitch receiver on your 2017 Ford F-150 4x4, and after leveling your trailer you will need to measure from the ground to the bottom of the coupler on your trailer.

If the measurement for the trucks receiver is higher than the measurement for the coupler you will need a shank with drop so the # BLU67FR will be correct, and if the coupler on the trailer is higher than your trucks receiver you will need a rise and can go with either the # BLU47FR or # BLU67FR.

I included videos for both of the products mentioned, and a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct rise or drop for you to take a look at.
