Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar and 2020 Ford Escape
Question:
I have a Sterling All Terrain tow bar do I need to order anything else besides the base plate to connect with the tow bar?

Expert Reply:
The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms, # RM39FR, is a confirmed fit for your 2020 Ford Escape and will work with your Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar, # RM-576. In addition, these base plates will work with other Roadmaster tow bars that slide into a trailer hitch, such as the, Blackhawk, Blackhawk 2, Falcon, or Falcon 2. Please see the product review video I have attached.
You will also need indicator lights for your vehicle when being towed. For a non intrusive simple setup that can be moved from one vehicle to another, I suggest the Custer Wireless LED Tow Bar Light, # LIW-LDTL. And for the easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
