What Is The Difference Between 175/80D13 and 175/80R13 Trailer Tires?

I have a trailer and want to change tires. The tires I have are 175 80 D13 and can’t find them anywhere. I found 175 80R13 is it the same thing?

The difference between 175/80D13 and 175/80R13 is the D and R. D means that it is a bias ply tire and the R means that it is a radial tire. Radials tend to be more of a smooth ride on the road and the bias tire is better for off road conditions. I would recommend getting radials on your trailer, but you do want to get all the same kind so you don't see uneven ware over time. You have this Bias ply tire # AM1ST76 but you can swap them all for these radials # AM10199
