Adding a Fifth Wheel Slider to a Ram with an Existing B&W Turnoverball
Question:
I ‘be been told that this hitch won’t fit on my 03 Dodge Ram with the BandM turn over ball. because the under bed base is in the way.

Expert Reply:
The B&W Above Bed Rails # BWRVK2600 will not fit if there is a B&W Turnoverball, like the # BWGNRK1313-5W, already installed. That being said, if you already have that installed, B&W has a better solution. The B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3400-5W will actually install in the Turnoverball and completely negate the need for above bed rails. I included a review video of this hitch for you to take a look at as well.
If you wanted to install the B&W above bed rails # BWRVK2600 and use the Patriot Slider # BWRVK3270, you would need to completely remove the Turnoverball system. Some of those brackets will interfere with the brackets from the above bed rail kit.
