5' x 10' Utility Trailer Axle Replace or Rebuild?

The main question is does the entire axle need to be replaced? Is the axle damaged? If it is not damaged it can be rebuilt with new bearings, hubs, seals, races, and even spindles.
I would ask that you verify the hub face measurement off the picture below. Hub face (A) refers to the length of the axle measured from the base of one wheel stud to the base of the wheel stud on the opposite side of the axle.
If you determine that your axle does need to be replaced and the hub face is the 72" across I recommend the axle # 20545I-EZ-72-15. This axle includes EZ Lube spindles to make greasing your bearings a lot simpler.
If you are not needing an entire axle and just want to get new hubs and bearings a kit like # AKIHUB-545-2-LF-2K would be a better choice. You will need to pull apart one of your wheel hubs to measure your spindle to ensure it is the correct fitment(see picture below). Both bearings are L44649 (1.063" inner diameter).
If you come up with different measurements on either the axle or the bearing spindle please let me know and I will recommend the correct size for your application.
