Affordable Rooftop Cargo Box For 2018 Subaru Outback With Factory Crossbars
Question:
Is this cargo box a good match for a 2018 Subaru Outback? Ive never used a cargo box before. Im looking for dependability and ease of use at a decent price. Or would you recommend something else?

The Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier - 9 cu ft - Black # TRX44FR is a great option for an economical roof box. There are certainly higher quality and larger cargo boxes available but this will work well for you if you do not have a lot of cargo to haul in it. The inside dimensions are 44" long x 26-1/2" wide x 17" tall. You will want to measure the crossbar spread which is the distance from one crossbar to the next crossbar, measuring from the center of each bar (see attached photo). If your measurement is between 22" and 30" then it will work. Just keep in mind you will likely need to drill new holes in the cargo box if the crossbar spread is more than 22".
