Can RockyMounts MonoRail 2 Carry Two Electric Bikes on 2016 Ford Edge Titanium?
Question:
I have 2 electric bikes weighing around 55 lbs. Is this a good choice or would you recommend another hitch? I do not want to spend more than $500.

Yes! The RockyMounts MonoRail 2 # RKY10004 is a great rack for your electric bikes. I actually just installed one recently on a 2020 Jeep Cherokee which I attached a video review for below if you want to see how it looks on an SUV. With a capacity of 60 lbs per bike, this can carry your 55 lb bikes. Another great feature is the option to expand to three bikes with the # RKY10005 for when you want to upgrade.
I haven't test fitted this rack on a Ford Edge yet, but one thing you should doublecheck is if you have enough clearance from your hitch pin hole to your bumper. When folded up, the rack gets pretty close and the closest point is about 5-3/4" from the hitch pin hole. If you measure from your hitch to the end of your bumper and it's less than 5-3/4" then you're good to go!
