Honda HR-V trailer Hitch: Viewed your video on 2021 Honda HR-V trailer hitches. Have been informed by Honda that installation of any hitch on a HR-V will void the manufacturers warranty. Is that true? Thanks

Installing a trailer hitch receiver like the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11416 on your 2021 Honda HR-V will not void the manufacturer warranty as consumers are protected by the Magnuson-Moss warranty act which states that unless the part added causes a problem, installation and use of the part will not void a warranty.

I do recommend looking up this act to get make sure you aware of what it protects.

I went ahead and included a video of the # C11416 being installed on an HR-V for you to take a look at.
