Can I Install a Transmission Cooler In Series with My Stock Cooler?

can I instale an additional Trans cooler in series with my stock one? or shoule I replace it with one of youe larger units, this would seem to be a cleaner way to go?

Yes, in fact the transmission coolers we sell are designed to be supplemental coolers, not direct factory replacements. We typically suggest installing our cooler downstream from the factory cooler.

I would recommend going by your owners manual. If you have the ATF cooler installed, you can haul the 4,000lb trailer. Make sure that your hitch can withstand that load if you do not have the OEM hitch that came with the truck.

I checked with Longview, the manufacturer of towing mirror set #CTM4000 and they do indeed list the mirrors as a fit for the 2000 to 2006 Toyota Tundra. I have included a link to a video showing an installation of these mirrors on a similar vehicle.
