Curt Echo 12v Power on 2020 Ford Ranger
Question:
Hi - question on P/N C51180, please. I have a 2020 Ford Ranger XLT with the factory 7 pin. Im hooking up to a trailer the tow vehicle charges the battery on. Will this controller pass 12v from the connector to the trailer battery through this brake controller? Thank you

Curt # C51180 is a great brake controller and pairs well with any application you might be using it for on your 2020 Ford Ranger. 12v power does work with this brake controller, so your trailer battery does charge properly. The power comes out of the 7-way on your truck and goes through the pin on the brake controller powering the brake controller. The power then goes to the 7-way plug on your trailer and to the battery through the charge line set up on your trailer.
