No Trailer Running Lights While Using Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller
Question:
I recently purchased the Curt Echo trailer brake controller for use on my 2023 Ram 1500 Limited. When I plug the trailer harness into the Echo, none of the running lights function. However, if I plug the trailer harness directly into the truck, all lights function correctly. Any thoughts?

The Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller part # C51180 is just a pass through for all trailer circuits except for the trailer battery charge line and trailer bake output. If you're having issue with the trailer lights while using the controller it's likely just a poor fit between the pins either on the vehicle to controller or controller to trailer plug. I recommend removing the controller, checking the pins, then reinstalling. If the issue still persist then replace the controller under warranty.
