Fit of Demco DM8550034 Hijacker Autoslide With Industry Standard 5th Wheel Bed Mounting Rails
Question:
I have a Chevy 2500 LT Diesel pulling a fifth wheel going to order a Demco 5th wheel 18k and have the original bed rails for it will I have any trouble putting in the CM8550034 ON TOP OF THOSE BEDRAILS which measure center to center 22 inches. I have a short bed. thank you for you reply.

It sounds like you have industry standard bed rails, given the spacing you provided. If your rails have mounting slots that are 20-1/2 or 29 inches apart center-to-center measured side to side as shown in the photo, the
Demco # DM8550034 Hijacker Autoslide you'd looked at would be compatible.
If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector in your truck bed, I'd recommend using part # 50-97-410.
