Recommended Air Force One Supplemental Braking System For RV's With Air Brakes
Question:
Replacing a SBS with Air Force 1 system. It looks like the AF1 package includes much more than the SBS for the coach and car. Is there a package that only has the braking system. I already have the safety cables and the umbilical cord.

Demco SBS Air Force One Supplemental Braking System for Motor Homes with Air Brakes # SM99243 includes everything necessary for use in towing a vehicle. This is the complete braking system setup, it does not include safety cables etc. This system brakes the tow vehicle in proportion to the towing vehicle. There are no false braking incidents with this setup as it will only engage the brake pedal if the coach brakes are engaged.
Included is a breakaway cable, a 7 foot coiled air hose, the actuator (which clamps onto brake pedal in towed vehicle), the operating unit (mounted in engine compartment of towed vehicle), the air tank assembly (attaches to frame of tow vehicle), and various fittings. Let me know if you were just looking for a specific part or if you have any further questions.
I have attached a very detailed video that goes over the entire installation process for this kit.
