Based on my research it looks like your Alfa Motorhome is likely equipped with air brakes. If this is the case then I highly recommend the SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99243 because it uses the air pressure from the RV's brakes to apply the brakes on your Jeep Grand Cherokee. The included air hose will go from the air assembly in the RV to the operating unit in the Jeep.
With diesel pusher motorhomes this also helps to prevent false braking that can occur with other supplemental braking system that use the motorhome's brake lights to trigger the system instead. Since the exhaust brake activates the brake lights it will also activate the brakes on the Jeep when using a system like this.
The Air Force One system only uses air pressure from the motorhome's brakes so you won't have this problem.
I have attached an installation video on the Jeep Grand Cherokee that you can use for reference along with the complete written instructions manual that you can take a look at.
