Installing the Curt Underbed Gooseneck Hitch on 1993 Ford F-250
Question:
Can this gooseneck hitch be installed on a 1993 f250 4x4 with a manual transmission? And does the truck bed need to be removed to install this gooseneck hitch?

You can install the Curt Double Lock Underbed Gooseneck Hitch w/ Installation Kit # C60723 in your 1993 Ford F-250 without removing the truck bed.
The majority of the installation involves mounting the brackets to the frame and that is done from underneath the truck. You will need to drill a 4" hole in your truck bed though for the gooseneck hitch. Also, if you have overload springs, this hitch requires drilling two holes into the frame.
If you want to use this truck for fifth wheel towing, you can get an adapter plate # C16210 for that. If you need a little extra clearance, you can also get an offset hitch ball # C602 for an extra 4 inches.
