Hello- can you tell me if this gear box will work with Airstream Interstate EXT? I want to make sure that I can full open the back doors Also- is there an adapter to also carry bikes with the gear box? We have a Kuat system

It seems that you have an Airstream Sprinter that is built on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter 3500 chassis. You would need a hitch if you don't already have one. Here is one that we have a install video for # 75549. Then you can get the Kuat Pivot 2 # PVP20B and put the Walled Carpod # M2205-01-02 on it! This way you can get both doors open while you have cargo in the carrier. Unfortunately you will have to choose between hauling your gear or your bikes on the back your van. If you have a Kuat Rack like the Sherpa # SH22P. You can use that with the Kuat swing away system!
