Recommended Backup Camera for Pre-Wired 2021 Forest River Wolf Pack 315PACK12
Question:
I have a 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 high country with factory navigation and a 2021 Forest River 315pack12 camper that I am looking to get a backup camera for. The trailer is prewired for the camera.

Forest River trailers are pre-wired for Furrion backup and observation camera systems, so something like the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision - Rear Mount - 4.3" Screen # FOS43TASF will work well with the wiring and bracket that's present on your Wolf Pack 315PACK12. This system comes with a 4.3" monitor to allow you to keep tabs on what's behind you whenever the vehicle is put in reverse; you could also rewire the system so that it's constantly on by tapping into the running light circuit on the trailer.
If you're looking for a system that provides multiple camera angles, the Furrion # FCE48TASL-05 comes with side marker light cameras that engage when the blinkers are turned on and a 5" monitor that makes it easier to see what's happening around you.
Unfortunately there are not camera systems available that are compatible with factory monitors yet, so this would be the best option. I've linked a review and installation video of the Furrion system for you to check out.
