Connecting Ready Brute Tow Bar to Blue Ox Base Plate Kit of 2015 Jeep Wrangler

Need help. I searched for Blue Ox Base plate and ended up buying from etrailer Tabless Base Plate e98949 thinking it was the Blue Ox. I attached the twist lock attachments to the Ready Brute Elite II and cannot get the second arm of the Ready Brute to the correct angle to attach to the base plate mounted on my Jeep Wrangler JK. Can you refer me to the correct parts needed to make this work? Thanks

The correct part numbers to connect to a Ready Brute tow bar will be the Blue Ox adapter # BX88297 and the Blue Ox base plate kit part # BX1126.

There isn't an adapter for the base plate kit you have now for the Ready Brute.

Blue Ox is very thorough with their testing so if they told you that one of their tow bars like the #BX7420 would attach directly to the lugs of your AEV Premium Bumper it would be true this is possible and would work great.

Looking at the installation instructions for base plates #RM-521448-5 you will need to remove the air damn, trim it according to the instructions, and then reinstall it. Trimming is needed for proper installation of the base plates.
