Recommended Hitch Receiver & Brake Controller For 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Question:
I have a 2010 Chevy Silverado, Crew Cab that Id like to add a hitch too. Most weight I would be pulling is 5,000lbs. Which hitch would you recommend? Also, I need to add a brake module. Thanks

I recommend getting a 2 Inch Class III Hitch Receiver # e98849. That will be great for what you're planning to tow. It has a 6,000 lb max gross trailer weight capacity. As far as the braking system goes, the best and simplest brake controller on the market is the Curt Echo # C51180. This doesn't require all the wiring that comes with a traditional braking system and is all controlled by your phone. Super simply and easy.
