Height Added to 2019 Ford Expedition Max With Rhino Rack Vortex Stealthbar Installed
Question:
Expert Carla M had recommended the JB0190 for the 2019 Expedition on Factory side rails. Wanted to confirm how much space this low profile rails provide when installed. Recommendation found on https://www.etrailer.com/question-411818.html Am looking to use it for an RTT and the factory crossbars have around 2 to 2.5inch depending on the raised roof segments. This looks like it will sit even lower? i.e. less than 2inch space under the bar?

When the Rhino-Rack Vortex StealthBar Roof Rack # RRSX100 is installed on the roof rails of your 2019 Ford Expedition it would add roughly 1-1/2 inches to them. The bottom of the bar that runs across the roof will be right at the same height as the top of the raised rails so if you were looking for clearance under the bar you could lie a straight edge from one rail to the other and see. The dimension would get smaller as you get closer to the center of the roof since the roof is curved.
