Can I Use a Redarc Tow Pro Liberty on a 2002 Chevy Silverado
Question:
will this work on my 2002 Chev Silverado 1500 which has a tekonsha controller installed

Expert Reply:
Yes. You can install the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty # RED24FR in place of your old Tekonsha controller on your 2002 Chevy Silverado without any issues and you'll just need a few extra parts. You'll want to use the Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Pigtail - GM # 3025-S and splice it into the Universal Wiring Harness for Redarc Tow-Pro Trailer Brake Controllers # RED69FR to complete the installation.
I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to have a look at.
