Can Short Bed 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 with OEM Rail Kit Tow Grand Designs Reflection 337RLS
Question:
Weve already purchased a Grand Designs Reflection 337RLS and wanted to get your input on a tow vehicle. The UVW of our unit is 10,697 lbs. with a pin weight of 2,090 lbs. and is 356inch long It advertises an Aerodynamic Front Cap with Max Turn Radius. Weve pretty much decided on a Chevy 3500HD Duramax with Crew Cab and SRW. The question is what bed length should we get? Id like a 6 1/2foot bed, to reduce the overall length of the truck with the crew cab. But I also want to be safe for tight turns, so I am wondering if I would be better off with an 8foot bed. Weve had a 5th wheel before Chevy dually with an 8foot bed and except for the first day due to inexperience, never had a tight enough turn for the 5ver to get close to the truck.

Since your trailer has the max turn radius front cap the really great news is that you can use a short bed truck to tow it with a fixed hitch and not have to use a slider.
The B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3715 is a really great option for the OEM rail kit of your 2021 Chevy Silverado 3500 short bed. Many consider it to be the best hitch around to how easy it is to use and how quiet it is when towing.
