jFlat Towing 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited behind 2020 Holiday Rambler Motorhome

Question:

Let me know if this will work on a 2020 Holiday Rambler towing a 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara: Nighthawk tow bar with ez5 direct connect baseplate no crossbar and a Tow Defender. Also, thinking of a Brake Buddy supplemental system

It sounds like you have your system spec'ed out about perfect.

The Roadmaster # M-676 Nighthawk All-Terrain tow bar will connect your 2020 Holiday Rambler to your 2016 Wrangler Unlimited if it has a Roadmaster EZ5 Base plate Kit # RM-521448-5 installed.

The Roadmaster # RM-4750 “Tow Defender” protective screening is compatible with your EZ5 base plate kit and will offer significant protection for the front of your towed vehicle. I have attached a link to a review video.

For your supplemental braking system, in your towed vehicle, the Brake Buddy system is a fine choice. You can order the Brake Buddy # HM39494 for the “Classic” model or the HM39524 for the “Select” system which includes the wireless remote to keep tabs on the system status or to change the braking modes.

Finally, you will need the Roadmaster # RM-152-1676-7 wiring kit to operate the lights on your towed vehicle. I have attached an installation video for this as well. Add to that a Roadmaster # RM-88400 Brake Light Relay. The purpose of a brake light relay kit is to prevent your towed car's brake signal from overriding the turn signal that comes from your RV.
