Sway Control Recommendation for a Jayco Discovery Pop Up Camper Trailer

I have a jayco discovery pop top van which I had some problems with fish tailing would a dual cam bolt on fit kit pt no 26003 help with my problem

In order to use the dual cam sway control, # RP26002, you would need to have a Reese weight distribution with the cam end on the spring bars like # RP66022 as an example.

If you do not have this style or weight distribution then you may be able to add a friction sway bar like # 83660. You would then need a bracket (if you do not have a weight distribution head already that can accept this type of sway control). For Class III and IV ball mounts use # RP26003. For Class II ball mounts use # RP26005.

The best defense again sway is the proper loading or distribution of the weight of the trailer. If the tongue weight is not where it should be that can lead to increased chances of sway.
