Does the Tekonsha 90885 Always Stay On
Question:
Hi, I just installed a Tekonsha on my 2007 Ford F350 with a plug in harness. When the vehicle is off and attached to a trailer with brakes the display constantly shows .c.inch Should the display always be on or only when the vehicle is running?

What you're seeing on yours just indicates that a trailer is connected and the boost is active, but the controller will go into sleep mode after 15 minutes of inactivity. The controller doesn't turn completely off, but the power drain in the sleep mode is so miniscule that it would take months of inactivity to eventually drain the vehicle battery. The fact that the controller doesn't fully shut off is actually a safety feature, so folks don't forget to turn it back on. In other words, your Tekonsha # 90885 Prodigy P2 brake controller is operating properly.
