Question:
What is difference between akebrk-10 and 23-450? Thanks Gary

Expert Reply:
The differences between the Electric Trailer Brake Kit w/ Dust Shields # AKEBRK-10 and the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Assembly # 23-450 are the different manufacturers and that the # AKEBRK-10 have dust shields, and the # 23-450 does not. Also # 23-450 is just the driver side brake assembly, where # AKEBRK-10 includes the driver and passenger side brake assemblies.
If you wanted the Dexter Kit you would need the Dexter Electric Brake Kit # 23-450-451 which includes both brake assemblies.
Both of these 12-1/4 x 3-3/8 Brakes are for 7 bolt brake flanges, fit 15" and larger wheels, and are for 10000lb axles.
Neither option includes mounting hardware, so you will need Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 12-1/4" Brake Assemblies # BRKH122510 to complete the install.
I included a video for all of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
