Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Texas Tech University Color Logo Emblem two inch trailer hitch receiver cover. Now, a cover like this is going to serve at least two purposes, you can display your pride in being a Red Raiders fan, while at the same time, keeping your hitch receiver free and clear of any kind of rust and dirt buildup. Frequently, when you leave your hitch receiver open, it can build up with rust and debris that will make it a little more difficult to insert your accessories. So by having this hitch cover installed, you're going to be keeping your receiver clean while sporting your Texas Tech pride. Now, this officially licensed hitch cover features a chrome-plated Tech Double T spirit logo in scarlet, outlined in black, and mounted on an all metal black powder coat base. So this is a very premium feeling hitch cover, being that it is all metal, and the American-made emblem is rustproof and fadeproof.
And another nice addition is this foam gasket on the back that is going to prevent rattling when you have this installed in your trailer hitch receiver. Now, this is going to, again, fit two inch trailer hitch receivers. An important note is this does not include a pin and clip, so that if you don't have one already, that would be a separate purchase. However, because this is a more premium trailer hitch receiver cover, I would recommend taking a look at our etrailer hitch receiver lock for two inch hitches, and that will secure this cover to your trailer hitch receiver, so no one can easily come by and remove that when you're not near your vehicle. Now, just some overall measurements here, it looks like the overall width, we're gonna be sitting right at five inches, and then looking at the height, we're gonna be sitting right at 3 1/2 inches tall. Beautiful product, UNFORTUNATELY, very poor design!
Holes drilled way too far down tube so that foam sealing gasket doesn't even come close to sealing out water since insignia plate sticks out far past hitch receptacle on car!!

Product is very durable, of high quality and still looks brand new with no fading or rust after a year. I live on a island with salt water conditions and high Uv light. I have other metal items that look like it’s tens years old and rusting through approximately the same age I highly recommend the product if your in the market for such a item.

Perfect addition to the his & hers vehicle. Very nice solid construction with just the right amount of bling, classy USMC logo. Especially like the rounded edges, thinking they will lessen the bruising during unexpected close encounters

Before I took it out of the box, I could tell that this was a high quality product. The colors are bright and the fit is perfect. The foam seal to keep water out of the hitch was an unexpected nice touch. It looks great on my truck.
Be advised, it does not come with any kind of retaining device, you will need a hitch pin to keep it in place. I purchased a locking pin because something as nice as this would probably get stolen.

Did a lot of research on this product and it came through with flying colors. I ordered this product and one other from another site. This cover was superior in thickness size and chrome. Also the pin opening is large enough for standard 4" pins. If you are considering this product I suggest you don't wait. As for the company, great service. I was contacted shortly after the purchase, tracked the item and was contact about satisfaction after delivery. Outstanding. Will not return item but with their attention to detail I am sure if there were anything of issue the company would be on top of it. Thank you I will be ordering from you again.
