Lift Kit for 2008 Fleetwood Prowler 250RLS

Question:

Hi folks - looking for a lift kit for my trailer. I need more clearance than I have now,...at least another inch. Im also looking for replacement leaf springs. I have a 2008 Fleetwood Prowler 250RLS tandem axle. Can you help? Cheers

From the specifications I was able to find online, your Travel Trailer likely has tandem 3500 lb axles with a 2-3/8 inch axle tube diameter. If this is the diameter of your axle tube, we have the perfect solution that could provide a height increase equal to the axle tube diameter plus the thickness of the leaf spring pack.

If your leaf springs are currently mounted to the underside of your axle, you can relocate the spring packs to the top of the axle tube using an Over/Under Conversion Kit, part # K71-384-00.

If your leaf springs are already mounted atop the axle tube, then a kit like # LC425750 would provide 1.88 inches of lift.

If you have a Lippert Square or Diamond or a Dexter Torflex axle, we might have a viable option for you, I'd just need to know the capacity of your axles.

For leaf springs, I'd need to know the length of your current springs. The easiest way to measure them would be to put the travel trailer up on jack stands so that the axle hangs free. Because leaf springs flatten out as they wear, measuring them while the axles are suspended will provide an accurate measurement.

Unlike passenger vehicles, there is no ready resource that can tell me which individual parts were used when constructing your travel trailer, such as leaf springs and axles. I can make a pretty good guess, but we want you to get the correct parts the first time.

I've linked to some product description videos for the parts mentioned above.
