Recommended Weight Distribution System with Sway Control for a Forest River Surveyor 19BHLE
Question:
I am purchasing a 2021 Forest River Surveyor 19BHLE with a UVW of 3814# and hitch weight of 405#. I am towing with a 2017 Ford F150 SuperCrew with a 5.0. I want to be extra confident with sway control especially since this is a single axle travel trailer. Can you recommend a set up for me that is all in one. Im not the biggest fan of sway bars since I dont like the hassle of taking it off before backing.

If the trailer has brakes then I do have a great option that will provide sway control without having to worry about spring bars, the Sway Command Electronic Sway Control System part # LC380605 is what I recommend.
If the trailer does not have brakes or you prefer both weight distributing and sway control properties then I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System part # FA92-00-0600 as the best bang for buck option. It will also require the 2" Hitch Ball part # A-90.
