Trailer Hitch Availability for 2010 Mazda 5

Question:

Hi - Just curious if you sell a 2 hitch for a 2010 Mazda 5. I see that you have a 1 1/4 inch on line. Just curious.

Both trailer hitches that we offer for your 2010 Mazda 5 are Class I hitches with a 1-1/4 inch receiver, but an adapter can be used to install a 2 inch hitch accessory. Between the two options I would go with the Draw-Title Sportframe Traile Hitch Receiver # 24773 as it has a slightly easier install process. I have linked an installation video for you to check out.

If you need to adapt this 1-1/4 inch receiver to a 2 inch receiver, I recommend the Brophy Adapter 1-1/4 inch to 2 inch # HTAD as it is compatible with your Class I hitch. The only downside to using an adapter such as this one is that it will reduce the tongue weight of your trailer hitch by 50%. Additionally, this adapter is only designed for use with accessories and is not intended for towing.
