For your 2010 Honda Fit I recommend the Demco Tabless Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms Item # DM9519236 and the Demco Dominator Non-Binding Tow Bar - Victory Series - RV Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs Item # DM9511008. The base plate comes with removable arms the mount on the tow bar. You would remove the current brackets on the tow bar by removing the nut and bolt and replacing them with the removable arms that come with the base plate. This ensures that when you disconnect the tow bar from the base plate you don't have to store the removable arms because they stay attached to the tow bars.

Along with the base plate and tow bar, if you are looking for a complete flat tow set up I recommend the following items:

1. Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit Item # RM-15267. This kit allows you to transfer you light functions from your motor home to you Honda Fit.

2. Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional Item # HM39524. This is a portable braking system which makes it easy to set up. It comes with a wireless remote that mounts inside the RV so you can monitor and change brake modes.

3. Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass - 13" - 20-Amp Mini-Fuse Item # RM76511. The Honda Fit requires a fuse to be pulled after being connected to the RV and placed in tow mode. This kit makes it easy. You don't have to pull the fuse each time, you simply flip the switch.

I have included video links for the braking system and the diode wiring kit. The diode wiring kit is being installed on a 2017 Honda Fit. The instillation will be the same with the exception of the installer routing the wire up into the engine compartment. He does this because of the braking system he is going to be installing. The braking system I recommended does not require that step so the wires can be routed straight back to the taillights. I also suggest testing the wires because the wire colors may be different from the 2010 to the 2017.
