Is the 4 Offset B&W Hitch Ball Required for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitch on 2019 Ford F-250

Question:

This is a compounding question: My 2019 F250 CCSB 6.7 4wd does not have the factory 5th wheel prep. This BandW under bed “turnover” gooseneck kit has been recommended too me. It’s also been recommended to me that since I have a shortbed, I may want to run the BandW 4” offset ball. I just want to make sure I get the right part numbers for my truck. The next part of my question is about the Reese goosebox that I plan to run on our Grand Design 303RLS. It does have a 1621 Lippert pin box and the max weight of the trailer is just under 12k pounds. I’d assume running the 16k goosebox would suffice. Also, I want to make sure that I am getting the gen2 Reese 16k goosebox. Could you please provide the appropriate part numbers for me. Thank you

The 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches part # BWGNXA4085 would indeed be a good idea to use with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch part # BWGNRK1116 on a 2019 Ford F-250 if you have the short bed.

In regards to the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter part # RP85FR which is for a Lippert 1621, if the GVWR of the trailer does not exceed 20,000 lbs you will be fine and I can confirm this indeed the second generation design.
