Do I Need to Replace the Outer Tube on Gooseneck Trailer to Use Bulldog 5th Wheel Adapter

why does it say to replace inner and outer tube on gooseneck adapter typo? I thought you remove inner pin tube and swap king pin tube and vise versa bulldog 4in tube thx
