Can I Use the Thule Hullavator on a Gobi Safari Style Rack on a 2005 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I am trying to find out if this can be installed on my Jeep Wrangler. It does have a soft top. I have installed a roof rack, that I currently use to haul my kayak. I have included pictures so you can give me an idea if this is possible. The cross bars are removable. Thanks!

I may have a solution for you, but the Thule Hullavator # TH898 requires that your crossbars extend 4"-8" outside of the side rails, so your safari style rack won't work for this carrier. Instead, you may want to consider using the Malone SeaWing Kayak Carrier and Load Assist w/ Tie-Downs - Rear Loading - Clamp On # MPG113MD, which has a load assist feature and can be used on the round bars of your 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ with a safari rack and soft top.
