Will the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit Work With Reese Weight Distribution System

Question:

I know/see the REESE PRO #49913 has provision for sway control mounting ball on either side but, if the Sway Control ball mount is to be 24inch from hitch ball, will the Sway Control mounting plate be in conflict with the #49913 trailer brackets? Or do you just mount those brackets back a bit further?

The Reese Weight Distribution System part # RE44FR does indeed have provisions for trailer sway control via a tab on each side of the head. These tabs are designed to be used with the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit part # 83660 which installs in the hole on the tab and then onto the frame with the included bracket. The frame bracket for the weight distribution system will install in front of the frame bracket for the friction sway bar so there will be no issues.
