Drop Shank Recommendation for Lifted Truck Using Weight Distribution

Question:

Looking for a replacement Weight Distribution Hitch for my current Hidden Hitch System and a new Longer Shank. I believe the Curt Short-Arm Weight Distribution System C17333 is the same style/design. Ill need a Drop Shank like the Curt Weight Distribution Shank C17125 to use with a different lifted truck. The Curt might be one hole short on the highest setting, but I dont see any other options. Am i on the right track with these two items?

For a lifted truck you will need a drop shank like the part # C17125 to use a weight distribution system like part # C17333 and still tow the trailer level.

You didn't say how much drop you would need but to determine that you will need to measure from the top of the hitch opening down to the ground and then measure from the bottom of the coupler on the trailer when it is sitting level down to the ground. The difference between those two dimensions is the amount of drop you would need.

The max drop the part # C17125 can do is 15-3/4 inches when used with a trunnion system like the # C17333 and the minimum drop is 11-1/4 inches.
