Recommended Camper Tie-Downs for a 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 6-1/2' Bed
Question:
I have a palomino truck camper and bought a new truck. The new truck is a chevy2500hd with a 6’10” bed. The bed has a spray in liner and plastic top caps. Which tie downs do you recommend for this? The last truck had the bumper rear mounts but the bumper on this truck has the steps in the corners so I am not sure if they can be installed on it. The front mount on the other truck was bolted to the front side of the bed.

The camper tie-downs I recommend for a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 are the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs since they are most secure and a custom fit so no modifications are needed. The correct kit for the front is part # TLC2225 and the correct kit for the rear is part # TLC3221. In order to complete the setup you'll want to use the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles part # TLS9529-2-LK.
It sounds like you were previously using HappiJac Truck-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs which are not available for this truck.
