Replacement Hubs for 2003 EZ Loader Boat Trailer

Question:

Vin searches show that its a 2013 EZ LOADER. I thought it was a 2003, the year the boat is. Im still waiting for the registration from the person I bought the boat from. 22 ft, single axle. No brakes that Im seeing. I can see that it has oil filled hubs like the front wheels of our motorhome. Im not sure that I need or want oil filled. Im kind in the mood of just tell what to buyinch and Ill do it. We want to pull this boat all over Florida and be safe. And probably 90 salt water launches. Im pretty sure that I couldnt change the tires right now, with the nuts so rusted out at least on the freeway. My plan is replace the hubs, add new tires and even rims if needed. You know a lot more about this than me, so your suggestions would be greatly appreciated. :-

You might be able to use the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 3,500-lb Axles - 5 on 5 - Pre-Greased # 84550BX you were looking at, if you've got 3500-lbs axles with a spindle that takes the # L44649 outer bearing and # L68149 inner bearing. The best way to determine what hubs you can use to replace your existing ones is by checking the bearings that are in the existing hubs and matching them accordingly; we also might be able to narrow it down if you can confirm that this trailer has a 3500-lbs axle on it. The axle capacity should be located on the spec sticker at the center of the axle.

If you take the hubs off and find different bearings, or find a different capacity on your axle, just let me know what you find and we can find some more appropriate replacements for you. I've also linked a helpful article we did on bearing sizes and measurements that you might find helpful if the bearings do not have numbers stamped on them.
