Installation of Roadmaster Base Plates and 6-Way Wiring on 2018 Chevy Equinox
Question:
I bought the RM-523193-5 Base Plate The video shows mounting the 6-7 wire connector before replacing the front fascia. If I do that it looks like the connector wont fit without cutting some of the fascia away. So am I supposed to wire it up, not mount it, slip it through the fascia, then mount it? Or cut the fascia? Thanks.

On your 2018 Chevy Equinox, the 6-way connector you are referring to will simply be added after the fascia is reinstalled. In the attached video of the # RM-15267 you will see the wire run but not connected prior to the fascia being reinstalled after the baseplates # RM-523193-5 are fitted.
