Draw-Tite Hitch With 2 Hitch Pin Holes Very Loose and Rattling
Question:
I have a rear hitch mounted basket, but the hole for it is a 2inch hole and the hole on the car hitch is 1.5. Do you make a hitch adapter for this sort of thing. The basket doesnt slide far enough back to use the same diameter hole with a hitch pin. Right now the outer hitch pin is tight but leaves the inside a but wobbly

We have this issue worked out now. Your Draw-Tite Hitch has two sets of holes drilled through the receiver on the back of your vehicle. One is the 5/8” hole that a standard 5/8” hitch pin goes through. The other hole (closer to front of vehicle) drilled through the receiver is 1/2” in diameter and this is not for a hitch pin but rather for their optional J-Pin Stabilizer.
You must have a 1/2” hitch pin that you are putting through the 5/8” hitch pin holes. This would completely explain the significant wobbliness.
If you need a standard 5/8" hitch pin you can order part number # PC3.
