In Bed Wiring Harness for 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailers on a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500
Question:
I own a 2001 dodge Ram 2500 8ft. bed and need a 7 blade connector that mounts in the bed. I do have the factory 7 blade connector mounted to the factory receiver. I would like the adapter type that plugs into the factory wiring harness eliminating any splicing. Thank you

The correct fifth wheel trailer wiring harness that you will need for your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 with a factory 7-way connector is the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # HM42137. I am including a link to a video of the wiring harness being installed on a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500. The truck in the video is different from your truck, but the installation process will be the same.
The Bargman 5th Wheel and Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness, part # 50-97-410, that you have referenced is designed to fit the 2009 to 2011 Dodge Ram.
