Can Thule T2 XTR Fit 2015 Subaru Impreza with EcoHitch
Question:
Hi there, Im planning to install an EcoHitch 2inch Invisi-hitch model 7211 to my 2015 Subaru Impreza standard hatchback. Im also intent on getting a platform style 2or more bike hitch as well. I see that the Invisi-Hitch is a little fussy about compatibility re: shank/pinhole measurements but trouble is I keep finding conflicting information on whether or not various bike hitches are compatible. For example, the Thule T2 Pro XT. Some sources so it absolutely will not work. Others suggest the 9035XT model with a stop will work just fine. Im also looking at RockyMounts Backstage and I cant figure it out either. Some guidance would be most appreciated. Im going cross-eyed from reading hitch specs.

The EcoHitch that fits your 2015 Subaru Impreza Hatchback part # 306-X7211 does have a shorter distance from the pin hole to the back of the hitch tube but since the rack has an open back this isn't really an issue as the rack at worst would just stick through the hitch a bit further.
The Thule T2 Pro XTR part # TH83JV you are wanting will fit this well and overall is one of the nicest and easiest to use bike racks out there so it would be a great solution.
